On Saturday 25th of May super middleweight title holders Carl Froch (IBF) and Mikkel Kessler (WBA) renew their rivalry at the O2 arena in London. Their first in 2010 was an all out war that ended with Froch losing his unbeaten record and his WBC super middleweight title.

The defeat to Kessler 3 years ago really hurt Froch that is plain for everyone to see. This fight not only gives Froch the chance to avenge his first loss, it also gives him the chance to unify 2 titles for the first time in the 168lbs division.

Froch is already 1 of the top 2 super middleweights out there. With Andre Ward, the only other man to beat Froch sitting at the top.

On Saturday night I feel Carl Froch will get the win over Mikkel Kessler. Froch for me comes into the fight with more momentum. With 2 outstanding stoppages against Lucian Bute and Yusaf Mack I just can't see Carl Froch losing. Having home advantage and being a much better fighter than in their first fight, I feel if Froch goes at Kessler like the Bute fight, throwing punches from all angles and keeping on top of him. I see Froch winning by unanimous decision or maybe a late stoppage.

One thing I do know is on Saturday night their will be fireworks and we are in for a great night of boxing. Styles make fights and no 2 styles in boxing are better suited than Carl Froch and Mikkel Kessler.
